Afghan Global Diaspora Council and Shkula Charity Foundation Ramadan Food Distribution Initiative

In an extraordinary display of compassion and generosity, the Afghan Global Diaspora Council in collaboration with the Shkula Charity Foundation in Afghanistan embarked on a mission to provide Ramadan food packages and cash assistance to impoverished Afghan families, fourth time.

The initiative commenced with a groundbreaking effort led by the Afghan Global Diaspora Council, where a global campaign was launched to raise a total of 21,048 Australian Dollars. Out of this amount, 6,648 Australian Dollars were allocated towards providing food packages to 64 needy families in Kabul, each package valued at 270 Australian Dollars.

Subsequently, a second distribution of Australian $3,600 took place in Kabul. The third phase of the initiative saw the allocation of 3,000 Australian Dollars in Kandahar to prepare food packages for 40 families in the province. Fourth time, we collected 7000 Australian Dollars and created the food package and distributed to the poor Afghani people.

We also gave Australian $800 in cash. In total 21,048 of Australian Dollars we contributed towards the welfare of poor and needy Afghani people in Afghanistan.

We have all the accounts in place and available for audit on request.

The remaining expenses, including travel and accommodation fees, were graciously covered by Dur Mohammad Achna, president of Afghan Global Diaspora. All these distributions occurred during the sacred month of Ramadan. As a matter of fact, President, two vic president and secretary spent from his own pocket for them visits to Afghanistan including travel and accommodation.
